Situated in the heart of Pinoso is a truly English experience, a tearoom serving English food and afternoon tea. Accessed through green gates in Calle Duque Torre you go through an archway into this tearoom. One of the beautiful things is the garden and that you will take pleasure in dining under the most impressive tree that’s over 100 years old.
The tearoom owners are Lesley-Ann and Mark Simmonds. Lesley-Ann is a trained patisserie chef (trained by a top patisserie chef who worked at the Ritz) enjoy sandwiches, Welsh rarebit on toast, tea cakes, sausage rolls, ploughman’s all homemade, as well as homemade cakes, scones with clotted cream and high tea (3 tiers of delicious food). A cup of tea will be a pot of tea!
For high tea booking is advisable, the opening hours are Thursday to Saturday from 10.30 to 17.00. You can book this garden for a private social event and if that is not enough from 17.00 to 20.00 hours the garden offers a pre-dinner drinks bar, serving drinks with cheese and meat platters.
